PROBLEM

CAUSE

SOLUTION

The vacuum does not start

No power

Check the cable, plug and socket

The boiler filling pump can be
heard working continuously

Air in the boiler circuit.

Switch off the equipment, let it cool
down and repeat the procedures of
chapters  “Switch on”.

The suction power drops

The upholstery nozzle, the
flexible tube or the stiff suction
tube are clogged.

The HEPA filter is exhausted

Clen the filter and remove any
obstruction from the tubes and acces-
sories.
Proceed as described in the paragraph
entitled “Cleaning the washable HEPA
filter”.

Water is spilled while sucking up
liquids.

Float device clogged

Clean the “EcoActive Filter” water filter
assembly.

The vacuum cleaner switches off
during suction and the four indica-
tor lights flash.

The liquid level in the con-
tainer is too high

The selected power is too high
for the type of surface

Before resuming your cleaning opera-
tions, proceed as illustrated in the section
“Emptying and cleaning the dirt con-
tainer”.

Push the switch (1), disconnect the sup-
ply cable from the mains and keep the
appliance disconnected at least 30 sec-
onds to allow the safety device to reset

The indicator light (3) remains on
and a buzzer rings.

Low water in the boiler.

Fill the water container as described in
the chapter “preparing for use”.

The indicator light (3) flashes and a
buzzer rings.

Low water in the boiler.

Turn the appliance on and off. If the
problem continues, turn the appliance
off and contact an Authorised Service
Centre.

The filling pump of the boiler conti-
nues to operate.

There is air in the boiler circuit.

Switch off the appliance and let it cool,
after which repeat the operations of the
chapter “Switching On”.

The suction stops, even if the dirt
collection container is not full.

Button (A4) of the handle (A2),
is accidentally pressed.

Make sure not to press the button (A4)
during suction.

The machine is pressurized but re-
leases little steam.

The steam adjustment handle
is on Level 1

Turn the steam adjustment handle to
increase the flow of steam

The extension tubes and the ac-
cessories are loose

The locknut is OPEN

Turn the locknut to the CLOSED posi-
tion

The extension tubes are hard to at-
tach together or to the flexible hose

The seals produce friction

The locknut is not in the cor-
rect position

Lubricate the seals

Turn the locknut to the correct position
