For Vaporella Forever 625-635 PRO - 650
• In order to have a continuous steam jet,
move the button (
10a
) forwards. Steam will
keep on coming out, even releasing the
steam request button. To interrupt the ou-
tlet, move the button (
10a
) backwards
(fig.6).
NOTE:
• Both (
B
) and (
11
) lights go on and off during
operation; this is quite normal and means
that the electric resistance is operating to
maintain constant the pressure in the boil-
er.
• If steam does not come out of the iron,
check that there is water in the tank (if the
pressure light is not off all the way water
comes out instead of steam).
IRONING WITHOUT STEAM:
• Press the ON/OFF switch (

), leaving the
boiler switch off (
2
).
• To dry iron, regulate the iron temperature
using the slider
(7)
to the temperature re-
quired by the fabric (fig.3).
FILLING THE TANK
Thanks to the self-filling function, there is no
longer any need to stop and wait while the
boiler fills up again.
When the water inside the boiler reaches its
low level, the thermostat will automatically
activate a pump that will fill the boiler from the
tank.
The lack of water in the tank is indicated by
the flashing of the indicator light (
C
) and the
buzzer.
To keep on working, simply restore the water
level in the self-refilling tank as described in
the “Preparation for use” paragraph.
PUTTING THE APPLIANCE AWAY
First ensure that the appliance has cooled
down completely.
• Empty the water tank (

).
• Position the steam pressure hose - power
supply cable (

) in the special housing (

)
located on the side of the appliance (Fig.7).
LOCKING AND CARRYING IRON
(ONLY MODEL FOREVER 650)
On the Vaporella Forever 650, it is possible to
lock the iron so that the Vaporella can be car-
ried by lifting it with the handle of the iron
(Fig. 8).
To lock the iron it must first be set on the rear
part of the rest mat (Fig. 9), then lift the iron
lock (

) located on the front part of the rest
mat (
5
) (Fig.10).
NOTE: make sure to firmly hook the iron
to prevent it falling accidentally.
To release the iron return the iron lock (
15
) to
the original position by pushing it downward.
KALSTOP
Water by its nature contains magnesium, mi-
neral salts and other deposits which in hard
water areas can contribute to limescale build
up in the tank. In very hard water areas we
recommend the use of our KALSTOP FP
2003, a special natural-base decalcifier
which inhibits and breaks down limescale.
This is a preventive against scale build-up
and protects the metal walls of the boiler.
KALSTOP is available from Polti dealers or
from your Polti Service Centre.
