Key

Function

Description

Automatic Write

Automatically stores scanned fre-

quencies in the Automatic Memory

storage area.

Manual Write

Allows manual storage of frequen-

cies into the Manual Memory storage

area.

Memory Read

Allows reading of the frequencies in

the stored memories.

Cancel

Used to Cancel an incorrect input.

Mode

Selects the receiver modes (AM, FM,

WFM or Automatic).

Skip

Used to Skip channels when Scan-

ning or Skip frequencies when Sear-

ching.

Dual Watch

Activates or Deactivates the Dual

Watch function.

Priority Channel

Activates or Deactivates the selec-

tion of a Priority Channel.

Tone

Activates or Deactivates the selected

CTCSS/DCS tone. The required tone

is selected from the Menu function in

VFO mode.

Delay

Activates or Deactivates the Delay ti-

mer which determines how long the

radio will wait on a frequency after a

signal has disappeared. The Delay

time is set from the Menu function.

Limit

Allows the entry of upper and lower

frequency limits when Searching.

Attenuator

Activates or deactivates the signal

attenuator to reduce the receiver’s

sensitivity in strong signal condi-

tions.
