INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

3. Install the mounting brackets
(PN 1018890 LH; 1018891 RH) onto
the rear brushguard (PN 1018892)
by aligning the holes on the brackets
with the brushguard studs. Secure the
brackets to the bumper using nuts
(PN 7547317). Figure 1.
4. Lift the vehicle and get under to install
the rear brushguard assembly
(PN 1018892) using two carriage bolts.
Hand tighten the nuts (PN 7547317).

NOTE:
Ensure the alignment of the
upper mounting holes of the bracket
with the dump box frame before
installing the carriage bolts.
1. Place the vehicle in “PARK” and turn the key to “OFF” position. Remove the key from the vehicle.
2. Unlatch the tailgate and disconnect the retaining cables. Remove the tailgate by opening the tailgate so that
it is about 2” from the closed and latched position, then lifting up on the left (driver’s) side of the tailgate to
disconnect it from the pivot. Once the lower left side is disconnected slide the tailgate slightly leftward to
disconnect it from the pivot on the right had (passenger’s) side.
5. Secure the rear bumper assembly with
the dump box frame with the four bolts
(PN 7518479). Hand tighten the nuts
(PN 7547317). Figure 3.
6. After installing the hardware, tighten
the four bolts. Tighten the two carriage
bolts just beyond snug.
NOTE:
Torque to 12 ft. lbs. (16.26 Nm).
NOTE:
Do not over tighten the carriage
bolts. This might cause damage to box
hinges.
7. Reinstall the tailgate.
