Tires
Wheel Removal
1. Position the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Place the transmission in PARK.
NOTE:
After a ride, allow the engine to idle for 30 seconds before stopping the
engine. This will allow the turbo system to cool down.
3. Stop the engine.
4. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
5. Elevate the side of the vehicle by placing a suitable stand under the
frame.
6. Remove the wheel lug nuts. Remove the wheel.
Wheel Installation
1. Place the transmission
in PARK.
2. Place the wheel in the
correct position on the
wheel hub. Be sure the
valve stem is toward the
outside and rotation
arrows on the tire point
toward forward
rotation.
WARNING!
Improperly
installed wheels can adversely
affect tire wear and vehicle
handling, which can result in
serious injury or death. Always
ensure that all nuts are torqued
to specification. Do not service
axle nuts that have a cotter pin
installed. Your POLARIS
dealer can assist.
3. Attach the wheel nuts
and finger tighten.
4. Carefully lower the vehicle to the ground.
5. Torque the wheel nuts to specification. See page 114.
