20. Install two new water pump o-rings and lubricate

them with clean engine oil.

21. Install water pump assembly into the engine. (see

Chapter 3 – Water Pump Installation, page 3.18)

1. Replace the two sealing o-rings

on the water pump

housing.

NOTE: Always use NEW o-rings each time the
water pump is removed.

2. Lubricate new o-rings

with clean engine oil.

3. Remove the shop towel from the water pump drive

access hole in the engine block.
