MAINTENANCE

Transmission Oil

Always check and change the transmission oil at the intervals outlined 

in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 48.

Transmission Oil Recommendations

Oil Check

1. Position the vehicle on a level 

surface. Place the transmission 

in gear. Lock the parking brake.

2. View the oil level through the 

sight glass. The oil level should 

be between 1/4 and 3/4.

3. Remove the fill plug. Add the 

recommended oil as needed.

4. Reinstall the fill plug.

Oil Change

1. Position the vehicle on a level surface. Place the transmission in 

gear. Lock the parking brake.

2. Remove the fill plug.
3. Remove the transmission drain plug. 
4. Drain the fluid into a drain pan.
5. Clean and reinstall the drain plug. Torque to specification.
6. Add 550 ml of the recommended fluid. 
7. Reinstall the fill plug. 
8. Check for leaks. Discard used oil properly.
