Step 1: Position the Mount
The Dash Strap Mount works by tightening itself against the vehicle dash
via 4 adjustable rubber bumpers, and 3 adjustable nylon straps that
tension the mount tight to the dash.
To begin the install process, find an appropriate spot on the dash that
the adjustable rubber bumpers can rest against without causing any
damage to the vehicle. This should be a spot that provides adequate
support for the mount, and does not block essential vehicle controls
such as gear shifts, and steering wheels.
Note that the side with the single strap goes up, and the hinge should
open to the right (passenger) side.
Tip: The mount has a total of eight (8) positions that the rubber
bumpers can be positioned, so if you are having difficulty positioning
the mount in the standard positions, try moving the bumpers to a
different set of holes.
