ConvertX Digital Video Converter Installation and Users Manual
Imported video files go to the Video Library. Pictures of any type are
sent to the Image Library. And any music or audio files are sent to the
Audio Library. You can add an unlimited number of files to your project
as long as there is enough room to store your project on the CD or DVD
you are creating.
Previewing Your Project
To preview your entire CD or DVD project:
•
In the Edit window’s preview area, select the Play button
. You
see project played (to the next title), so you can see if the video is
playing properly and if the transitions and other effects are in the
correct spots.
Viewing File Properties
To view the file properties of the media content in your media
library:
1. In the Edit window, select the Media Library of your choice.
2. In the desired library, right-click on the file you choose. You see a
pulldown menu.
3. From the pulldown menu, select Properties. You see the properties
of the file you’re interested in.
Saving Your Project
To save your project before continuing:
•
Select the Project menu at the top of the window, then choose Save
Project As, and select the path and filename.
You can save your project with MPEG-2 or MPEG-1 compression. If
you save the file to MPEG-2 or MPEG-1, no format changes are
required. You can also save your project with MPEG-4 compression,
using the DivX codec contained in WinDVD Creator.
