The appliance must be used only for its intended use, that is as an humidifier. Any use other than its intended purpose
shall be deemed to be improper and hazardous.
4.
The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for damages derived from misuse of this appliance, do not assuming any
responsibility in case of incorrect use that will decline any warranty.
5.
Always place the humidifier on a flat and even surface.
6.
The appliance has dangerous components that must be kept out of the reach of children.
7.
Do not use the appliance if it is not complete or completely assembled.
8.
Do not lay the power cord under a carpet. Do not cover the power cord with a cover or similar elements. Pay attention
not to place the power cable where it is likely to get into people's way.
9.
Never connect the power cord to extensions or triple plugs. Do not pull or damage the power cord. Before any
maintenance operations, disconnect the plug from the mains socket.
10.
If the appliance does not work properly or noise, immediately turn off the humidifier and disconnect it from the mains
socket. For repairs, contact a technical support centre authorised by the manufacturer, and require that original spare
parts be used. Using parts that do not conform to the product may seriously compromise its correct operation.
11.
The power cord must never be in contact with hot or wet surfaces.
12.
Ensure that the tank cap is completely locked before use.
13.
Use only clean fresh water to fill the tank.
14.
If you wish to use fragrance mixtures, put a few drops of essential oil in the tank side of the base (see figure beside).
15.
Do not add aromatherapy oils into the nozzle, base or water tank.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1.
Never turn on the appliance without water
2.
Remove the tank from the appliance by pulling upwards.
3.
Turn upside down the tank and unscrew the closing cap.
4.
Fill the tank with water. Screw tightly the cap. It is suggested to use demineralised water in order to avoid formation of
calcareous deposits.
5.
Replace the tank on the appliance.
6.
Position the nozzle above the tank, directing it far away from walls and furniture.
7.
Connect the equipment to a power outlet and turn the power knob
8.
When the operating light turns on, the humidifier starts working.
9.
Using the select knob set the desired intensity.
10.
When the water in the tank is finished, t
he power indicator turns red
and you have to fill water in the tank.
11.
After use, disconnect the appliance, remove the water tank and removing the cap empty the tank.
12.
Also empty the water from the base, taking care not to wet the plug and cable.
CAUTION
In cool places, windows and walls can steam up due to excessive internal moisture. Lower the intensity of the
humidifier in order to prevent proliferation of bacteria and fungus on furniture and walls (especially wallpaper). To
avoid too much moisture, especially in small rooms, leave the door open and check the adjustment of the steam
control setting.
