CORRECT PLACEMENT IN CAR
WARNING: The car seat should not be placed on the passenger seat with Airbag installed
or activated.
"DAITONA" can be installed both on front seat, if it's NOT equipped with Airbags, or with
Airbags OFF, and on the rear seat of the car. It can NOT be placed on OPPOSITE-facing
or SIDE-facing direction seats (Fig. 3). If you put it on the front seat, this must NOT be
fitted with Airbags or Airbag must be DISABLED. However, the optimum and safer location
for your car-seat is the REAR seats, specially the rear seat, on the opposite side to the
driver.
Install "DAITONA" only on seats properly secured to the structure of the car and turned in
direction of travel. Do not leave folding or rotating car seats not well hooked, they are a
source of danger in case of accident.
ASSEMBLING
Keep the product and all its parts out of box, check that all plastic bags are empty and do
not contain small accessories or parts (such as: screws, bolts, plugs or other small parts).
Throw away and keep out of baby's reach the packing plastic poly bags.
Insert the hooks of the backrest (B) into the slots of the seat (C) (Fig. 4), pushing well
down until they are fully wedged (Fig. 5).
WARNING: Check carefully that there are no belts, straps or any other part stuck between
the hooks of the backrest and the seat.
Now rotate backrest up to the vertical position (Fig. 6).
WAY OF USE AND REGULATION
To fit your child into car-seat, loosen belts (G) by pressing and holding the belt release
button (I) marked "PRESS", hold both belts UNDER the shoulder pads (E) and pull both
(Fig. 7).
Release belts by pressing the red button on the central buckle (H) of the crotch-pad (F)
(Fig. 8), pull out belts from buckle (Fig. 9) and carefully separate belts (Fig. 10).
Let your baby fit into car-seat, placing well harness on shoulders and waist of your baby.
Check that buckle and crotch-pad are well coated on the child's body (Fig. 11).
Double check that car-seat belts ARE NOT TWISTED OR ROLLED!
