Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install
the product.
• Do not allow children to play with or around fireplace grate.
• Do not attempt to clean the grate while it is hot.
• When grate is in use, do not touch with bare hands.
• Use heat-resistant fireplace gloves when moving or adjusting grate.
• Make sure the grate is large enough for the fireplace. Using a grate that is too small will cause the
grate to wear faster.
HOW TO USE
Step #1:
Place the fireplace grate into the fireplace as illustrated.
Step #2:
Place logs on top of fireplace grate.

GHP Group, Inc. promises to repair or replace any Pleasant Hearth Lifetime Grate that is defective in
material or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns it. This is the sole and exclusive
remedy. This warranty is subject to limitation, exclusions and other provisions as detailed below:
This warranty does
NOT
apply to the following:
• Normal wear and tear from standard use of the course of ownership.
• Modifications, alteration or attachments to the product
• Products that were not installed, used, or maintained in accordance with product instructions and
warnings
• Defects resulting from improper or abnormal use, abuse, misuse or accidents
To order parts or obtain warranty service, call 1-877-447-4768, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CST, Monday –
Friday. Failure to follow all instructions in the owner’s manual will also void this warranty. GHP Group,
Inc. will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion of incidental
or consequential damages may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you
may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Do not attempt to clean fireplace grate while it is hot.
• Lay fireplace grate flat on floor and wipe it with a soft cloth.
• Regularly sweep ashes from the fireplace and under the grate to avoid build-up. Accumulated hot
ashes can add additional wear to your grate.
