Exiting
the
User
from
the
Laguna
Shower
Chair:
1.
Make sure the casters are locked before assisting a user out of the Laguna shower chair.
2.
Bring the user to an upright position by pulling up on the silver knob to lift back support.
Release the knob to lock in the upright position.
3.
Remove one armrest, if performing a lateral transfer.
4.
Unbuckle the chest strap.
5.
If standing the user while exiting, have the user raise their feet and flip the footrests upright.
Place the user’s feet on the floor and assist them to a standing position.
6.
Gently assist the user out of the Laguna shower chair and to their desired location.
7.
Store the Laguna in its designated storage area and lock the casters during storage.
Cleaning
Instructions
:
The shower seat can be disinfected by spraying it with any standard non‐abrasive hospital grade hard surface
disinfectant. Gently wipe the disinfectant onto the surface using a soft towel or cloth and let sit for 10 minutes.
Rinse the shower seat making sure all disinfectant has been removed.
