INSTALLATION
MOUNTING:
1. The SV-5130.IR Rear Vision System uses a super wide-angle lens for best all around
performance. The Camera will display the full width of most parking spaces up to 8 feet or
even wider.
2. These cameras are designed to work best on vehicles that have a license plate located at the
center and above the rear bumper. If your vehicle has a plate location that is offset to the left
side, right side, or your plate is located under the bumper then the PlateCam™ may not
provide optimum performance.
3. The SV-5130.IR is designed to use the existing License Plate mounting equipment
4. Remove the factory license plate bolts and secure the SV-5130.IR camera to the license
plate.
5. Route the cable through the body of the vehicle. Most vehicles may have an existing grommet
that can be used to route the cable through the vehicle. If you have to drill a hole, make sure
to double check behind the drilling location to make sure nothing will be damaged.
6. Once the cable is installed, make sure to seal the hole using silicon or caulking to prevent
moisture damage

CAMERA:
1. The color CMOS camera is maintenance-free, waterproof (IP-68) and vibration resistant.
2. This camera has built-in Infra-Red LEDs for night vision. This will provide the driver with the
absolute best illumination when backing up the vehicle at night time.
3. The camera is completely electronic. There are NO manual adjustments for focus, etc.
