4.1 Using the Setup Wizard
The device’s Setup Wizard lets you configure your device easily and quickly. The wizard
will guide you through the necessary settings step-by-step.
To start the wizard, click
Setup Wizard
in the menu bar.
Step 1. LAN Setup
Enter the
Hostname
for the device.
Select
Start UPnP
to enable the device’s Universal Plug and Play function.
If your network uses a proxy server, select
Use proxy
and enter the
IP/Port
values.
Step 2. TCP/IP Setup
Select
DHCP
when your network uses the DHCP server; or select
Static IP
to
assign the IP address for the device directly.
