5.5 Advanced (ICF-1550)

Server Mode
You can choose to use a SIP server or not here in this item.
When the ICF-1550 is registered on a SIP server, it is provided related setup
information. SIP can offer callers a choice of ways of reaching a person. Using SIP
makes the ICF-1550 user-friendly, as users only have to dial the “SIP user name”
instead of entering a user IP address when making a call.
1. Advanced

select “Server Mode.”
2. Press [

] to select the setting you want.
Disable – Not to register a SIP server.
Proxy
– To register a SIP server and use it for communication.
3. Press [
ENTER
] to confirm the setting and return to the previous page.
*** If you set this item to “Proxy”, please continue setting the “SIP Proxy IP Addr”,
“SIP User Name”, “Password”, “Domain/Realm” and “Port” items. Detailed setup
instructions are as follows.

SIP Proxy IP Addr (SIP Proxy IP Address)
Enter the SIP Proxy IP address assigned to the machine.

] and use the on-screen keyboard to input your SIP proxy IP
address.
Press “®” to delete a word; press “*” to input a dot; press “ ” to switch between
upper case and lower case letters and numerals.

] to return to the previous page.
