3.7.2 Tag VLAN 

This mode will see the two setting page:

 “Tag VLAN Global Setting” 

and 

“Tag VLAN Setting”

. 

The global setting of the ports will affect all Tag VLANs. The screen in 

Figure 3-25

 appears. It contains the following fields:

Object 

Description 

Port 

The switch port number. 

PVID 

While receiving an untag frame from the port, the switch will assign a tag to the frame, using the PVID 
of the port as its VID. 

Untag Frame 

The solution to the untag frame received. 

“Drop"

 will drop the frame and 

"Pass"

 will transmit the 

frame in the VLAN with the VID the same as the PVID of the port. 

All Ports 

By operating on this field expediently, you can set the values of all ports in the corresponding field.

Note

:

 

If any Trunk has been set, the Trunk can be configured, but member ports of the Trunk is not 
able to be configured and in the field it display the parameters of the Trunk they belong to.
