PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol):

The table displays the following fields:

Connection Name:

This is user defined. User defined connections for PPP can

be created in

PPP Configuration

page.

l

Interface:

States the interface that is being used (PVC0 ... PVC7).

l

Mode:

There are two available modes for the connection:

PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE)
PPP over ATM (PPPoA)

l

Status:

States whether PPP connection is Connected or Not Connected.

l

Packets Sent:

Number of packets sent by a particular PPP Connection.

l

Packets Received:

Number of packets received by a particular PPP Connection.

l

Bytes Sent:

Number of bytes sent by a particular PPP Connection.

l

Bytes Received:

Number bytes received by a particular PPP Connection.
