4.2.2 Network Management

The

Network Managment

includes the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway. The Configured column is used to view or

change the IP configuration.Fill up the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway for the device. The screen in

Figure 4-2-2

appears.

Retrieves the IP address using

DHCP

Static

The possible field values are DHCP that retrieves the IP addresses using DHCP

client; Static indicates IP address is statically assigned. If Static was selected, the

IP Address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway fields are available.

Defines the IP address of the system.

•

Subnet Mask

Defines the subnet mask of the system.

•

Default Gateway

Defines the default gateway IP address of the system.

•

Management VLAN

Indicates the VLAN group that system belongs to.
