4.4.2 Multi-Functional Key
VIP-1000 Series has 20 multi-functional keys, which can be used for making speed dial and changing
the value of volume. Please follow the following processes to set up these multi-functional key
functions:
z
Choose one EXP Key from key 1 to 20;
z
Choose one function type between speed dial and shortcut keys;
z
Set the other corresponding parameter;
z
Press the Save button to save changes and press the cancel button to cancel changes;
z
Reboot VIP-1000 Series.
The following are the setting examples:
1) Add Speed Dial
z
Choose one EXP Key to configure;
z
Select Speed Dial from the drop-down list;
z
Choose the Line between auto (the first registered line) and line 1;
z
Fill in the phone number under Expansion;
z
Press Save to save changes and press the Reboot button to make changes effective.
If set properly, press the corresponding key to make call immediately.
2) Add Shortcut Keys
z
Choose one EXP Key to configure;
z
Select Shortcut Keys from the drop-down list;
z
Choose the Mode from and Volume-;
z
Press the Save button to submit changes and press the Reboot button to make changes
effective.
