Advanced Port Settings
Most users should not have to change these settings. They are
provided for the following situations:
•
Your modem uses non-standard AT commands.
•
Your ISP does not use the standard PPP connection, and
requires a special log-in procedure.
•
You wish to change the "Time-out" period after which an
inactive connection will be terminated.
The Advanced Port Screen is reached by clicking the
Adv.
Port
button on the
Port Configuration
screen. You will then
see a screen like the example below.
