Wash clothing of different size together; so you maximise the efficiency of the
appliance.
5.
Wash delicate clothes separately. Select a gentle programme for silk and wool.
6.
Remove hooks and other fastening materials from curtains.
7.
Wash clothing with buttons or embroideries inside out.
8.
Close zippers, buttons and hooks. Tie loose ribbons.
9.
Wash clothing, which will release fluffs easily, separately and inside out.
10.
Put bras into pillow cases so they cannot damage the drum.
11.
Wash quite delicate and small clothing in wash bags (commercially available).
12.
When you wish to wash a single, large piece (e.g. a jacket or jeans), an imbalance
in the drum may be generated. Always add 1 or 2 other pieces of laundry to
ensure proper operation.
13.
Remove dust, mud and animal hair from the laundry.
14.
Wash baby-wear and clothes a baby may come in contact with separately to
reduce the risk of infection. Increase the rinsing cycles to wash out the
detergent completely if necessary.
15.
Do not leave any laundry in the washer for a longer period of time; otherwise
the laundry becomes musty and will mould.
5. Cleaning and maintenance
