Before you operate the appliance for the first time
A)
Adjust the water softener.
B)
Pour 500 ml water into the container of the water softener and pour in the water
softener (= dishwasher salt).
C)
Pour in the rinse aid.
D)
Select a washing programme.
4.1 Water softener
You must fill in the water-softener manually; please use the water-softener filler hole.
Open the lid and pour approx. 2 kg of water-softener into the container; then close
the lid properly.
Setting of the water softener consumption
It is required to set the proper amount of the water softener based on the water
hardness range to optimize and customize the water softener consumption. Carry
out the setting as follows.
You can set the consumption of water softener from H0 to H7. Salt is not required
when the value H0 is set.

You need to get the information on the local water hardness range. You can
receive all relevant information from your local water supplier.

You find the values for proper setting on the schedule below.

Close the door.
4.
Press the ON/OFF button.
5.
Hold the Delay button and press the Programme button for 5 seconds. You will
hear an acoustical signal once. H flashes on the display. The factory setting is H4.
Changing of the setting
1.
Press the Delay button. Each pressing increases the value by 1. When H7 has
been reached, the setting will jump back to H0 (off).
