Restrict Wireless Network Access
When in public locations, for example, a busy port, you may want to restrict access to
the Wi-Fi hotspot created by your satellite device and the Optimizer. You can password
protect the Wi-Fi hotspot so others cannot use it.
Locate the wXa Wi-Fi network and select <Edit>.
1. Select the Encryption
mode from the dropdown
menu.
2. Enter your desired
password in the Key field.
3. Click <Save & Apply>
This procedure adds/changes the password for the Wi-Fi hotspot only. When connecting
your computer, iOS or Android device to the wireless network, this is the password you
will use. This password does not change the router superadmin or admin password when
logging in to access the Optimizer user interface.
