3 Mounting the CBC-Master Control
Carefully unpack the system and check for shipping damage. Mount in a clean, dry, easily
accessible area. Locate the top of the cabinet approximately five feet above the floor.
Supplies
Mounting the CBC Master Control cabinet will require four mounting fasteners.
To mount a bell supervision module independently, one double-gang box with four
screw fasteners will be required.
Mounting the Cabinet
• Mark and predrill four mounting bolts.
• Install the two upper fasteners in the wall with screw heads protruding.
• Using upper “keyholes”, mount the backbox over the two screws and tighten.
• Install the lower two fasteners.
• AC power wires should be pulled into the cabinet through a knockout separate
from power-limited wiring.
CAUTION: Sources of power should be disconnected before installation.
• Power-limited wires should be pulled through other knockouts provided.

Mounting the Remote Bell Supervision Module
• Install double-gang box.
• Pull the six wires from the same type
module in the Master CBC through
one of the box knockouts and connect
them to the same terminals on the
remote module.
• Screw faceplate onto box as indicated
in Figure 9.
Note: A remote module may be connected to
another remote module of the same type. The
terminal connections must be identical to the same
type module in the CBC Master.
