5 • Adding Postage/Connecting to Data Centre

Adding Postage

Adding postage funds to your system is fast, easy and convenient. It can

be carried out using the Smartlink device or supplied Communication

Device connected to a suitable network port (LAN connection) or using

a PC connected to the internet with PC Meter Connect™ software

installed.

Checking Funds (Postage) Available in Machine

1. Press

Funds.

2. View the funds available.
3. Press

Page Down for additional information on batch values.

4. Press

Home to return to Home screen.

Connecting via Smartlink

For full set up instructions and a video tutorial on how to connect your

mailing system to the Data Centre via your Smartlink device please visit
pitneybowes.com/uk/smartlinksetup
Pitney Bowes recommends connection via Smartlink. If you have a

Smartlink device please use the online instructions to get connected

now. If you do not have Smartlink and would like to find out more,

please contact your Pitney Bowes supplier.

Connecting Your System Using PC Meter Connect

As you install PC Meter Connect software, you will be prompted to

connect your mailing system to your PC using a USB cable. PC Meter

Connect will then test your internet connection and and take you

through the software installation process.

Once installed there will be a PC Meter Connect icon in your PC's

system tray. Clicking this icon will give you access to PC Meter

Connect's internet settings and language selection (if available in

your country).
