Turn handle counter clockwise
as far as it will go. Unitrol valve handle not turned
to ON.
Defective probe.
Defective thermopile or
thermocouple Replace magnet
Clean.
Minimum operating pressure:
Natural Gas- 4.0" w.c.;
Propane Gas- 10.0" w.c.

Replace baffles.
TROUBLE POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY
Low gas pressure.
Pilot flame lit but burners will
not light.
Pilot flame and main
burners cut off while
cooking.

Pilot will light but Unitrol pilot
gas valve will not hold open
automatically.
Float switch bulb off or stuck
down. Install float switch bulb and new
clip.
Check electric supply circuit

Supply cord may not be
plugged in or switch may not be
turned on.

Replace probe.
Defective computer. Replace Computer.
Defective Unitrol. Replace Unitrol.
Dirty burners.
Hi-Limit tripped
Baffles in heat tubes may be

Call factory to learn proper
sizes. Incorrect burner orifices.
Carbon build-up on heat tubes. Clean fry tank and tubes.

Pilot flame is yellow.
Pilot flame too large. Adjust Unitrol pilot adjustment
screw.
Carbon build-up on thermopile
or thermocouple. Remove and clean.
