USEFUL TIPS

While charging, ensure that the indicator light is on.
•
Before being used for the first time, the appliance should be charged for 10 hours in order to
guarantee full vacuuming power.
•
The appliance may be left on the charging base without any risk. The charger will heat up
slightly this is quite normal. However, it is preferable to disconnect the charger from the power
supplier if the unit is unattended for a long period of time (eg. whilst on holidays)
•
Check the condition of the filter regularly, and ensure that it is firmly in place. If the appliance
loses suction power or makes an abnormal noise, check that the vacuum inlet is not blocked or
that the permanent washable filter is not blocked or full.
•
In cases of abnormal operation, such as motor over heating. Stop
the appliance to correct the problem (e.g. blockages in the vacuum
inlet or accessory). If vacuumed dust falls on the floor, check to see if
the filter is full.
BATTERY CHARGING PROCEDURE
1. Plug the charging Base into a 240V/50Hz electric outlet.
2.
IMPORTANT :
Make sure that the On/Off Switch is turned to the “Off”
Position before charging. Otherwise, your vacuum will
not charge.
3. Slide the vacuum downward onto the charging base making sure that
the vacuum firmly hooks onto the charging base (see figure B). Your
vacuum will begin charging and the Green LED light on the charge
Indicator will glow to show charging is taking place. If your Piranha Dirt
Tamer is completely out of power, a full recharge will take
approximately 10 Hours.
