8.10 PS/2 keyboard issue
Problem description: PS/2 keyboard not responding.
1.
Try to replace the original keyboard with a different keyboard to make sure that the issue is not caused by a
defective keyboard.
2.
Since the data from the keyboard passes through MSR, a defective MSR will cause the keyboard to have problem.
You may detect this problem by removing MSR and then put 2 jumpers to the top 4 pin. Please contact
PioneeerPOS Technical Support if you have a defective MSR.
[Caution]
If you put the jumper to the wrong pin, it might restart the system.
8.11 COM port/serial port issue
Problem description: COM port/serial port device not responding
1.
Check the connection of the device. Make sure the device is connected to the appropriate port.
2.
Check if the particular port is currently being used by other program/printer.
3.
Test the COM port with generic printer under Windows.
4.
Under Device Manager make sure there is no IRQ address conflict
