Searching for a desired
track in the current folder
You can use the search function to specify a
track to search for a desired track.

Track search is not possible when disc play-
back has been stopped.
1 Touch SEARCH and then touch TRACK.
2 Touch 0
9 to input the desired num-
ber.

To select 3, touch

in order.

To cancel the input numbers, touch

You can also input the desired number by
using the joystick and

3 While the input number is displayed,
touch ENTER.
This starts playback from the selected track.

Displaying text
information on MP3 disc
Text information recorded on a MP3 disc can
be displayed.

When playing back files recorded as VBR
(variable bit rate) files, the bit rate value is not dis-
played even after switching to bit rate. (
VBR
will
be displayed.)

If specific information has not been recorded
on a MP3 disc,
NO XXXX
will be displayed (e.g.,
NO NAME
).
Scrolling text information
in the display
This unit can display the first 19 letters only of
Folder
,
File
,
TrackTitle
,
Artist
,
Album
and
Comment
. When the recorded information is
longer than 19 letters, you can scroll the text
to the left so that the rest of the text informa-
tion can be seen.

Keep touching DISP until the text infor-
mation begins to scroll to the left.
The rest of the text information will appear in
the display.
Selecting folders from the
folder name list
Folder name list lets you see the list of folder
names on an MP3 disc and select one of them
to playback.
1 Touch A.MENU and FUNCTION and then
touch FOLDER LIS.
2 Touch PREV or NEXT to switch between
the lists of names.
3 Touch your favorite folder name.
That selection will begin to play.
