Using the TV tuner

You can use this unit to control a TV tuner,
which is sold separately.

Band indicator
Shows which band the TV tuner is tuned to.

Channel indicator
Shows which channel the TV tuner is tuned.

Preset number indicator
Shows what preset has been selected.
1 Press SOURCE to select the Television.
Press
SOURCE
until you see
Television
dis-
played.
2 Use VOLUME to adjust the sound level.
Rotate to increase or decrease the volume.
3 Press BAND to select a band.
Press
BAND
until the desired band is dis-
played,
TV1
or
TV2
.
4 To perform manual tuning, rotate
ROTARY ENCODER.
The channels move up or down step by step.
5 To perform seek tuning, rotate
ROTARY ENCODER for about one second
and release.
Storing and recalling
broadcast stations
If you press any of the preset tuning buttons

you can easily store up to six broadcast
stations for later recall with the touch of a but-
ton.

When you find a station that you want
to store in memorypress a preset tuning
button 1
6 and hold until the preset num-
ber stops flashing.
The number you have pressed will flash in the
preset number indicator and then remain lit.
The selected station has been stored in mem-
ory.
The next time you press the same preset tun-
ing button

the station is recalled from
memory.
Notes
!
Up to 12 stations, 6 for each of two TV bands
can be stored in memory.

You can also recall station assigned to preset
tuning buttons

Storing the strongest
broadcast stations
sequentially
1 Press FUNCTION to select BSSM.
Press
FUNCTION
until
BSSM
appears in the
display.
2 Press ROTARY ENCODER to turn BSSM
on.
BSSM
begins to flash. While
BSSM
is flashing
the 12 strongest broadcast stations will be
stored in order from the lowest channel up.
When finished,
BSSM
stops flashing.

Storing broadcast frequencies with BSSM may
replace broadcast frequencies you have saved
