Connection to PROFIBUS DP
PROFIBUS is an open fieldbus standard whose communication is defined in the interna
tional standards IEC 61158 and IEC 61784. Further provisions have been defined in spe
cifications published by the PROFIBUS User Group. These specifications are available
from PROFIBUS International (see www.profibus.com).

Selector switch for setting the station address
The station address is set via the "ADDRESS" DIP switch. The DIP switch is binary coded.

the DIP switch, the address can be assigned via the Master. The Set Slave Address com
mand (SSA) must be run for this purpose.
