OPERATION MANUAL INTRODUCTION
TO THE NEW OPERATOR OR OWNER
Since 1986 Pik Rite equipment has been developed by people who work as hard as you do in the

This manual is provided to all our customers of newly manufactured manure spreaders to create
an awareness of all maintenance expectations and dangers that may be encountered when owning
this equipment. This manual should be kept for all future references. Please review these operating
instructions carefully, then sign and date the last page of this document and return it to Pik Rite
Inc. for processing. This will activate your warranty and verify that you have read and understand
the following operating instructions and warnings. In the event you have questions or encounter
other applications not discussed in this manual, please call before proceeding.

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION
The Hydra-Pull series features heavy duty components throughout the entire spreader. With a
pintle chain breaking strength of 60,000 lbs, a rugged steal box design, and poly board flooring for
maximum strength and durability, this machine is designed to efficiently and uniformly spread
manure.
Spring Tension Rollers – The spring loaded front idler rollers keep the chain secure and provides
better chain tracking.
Two Piece Drive Sprocket – The pintle chain sprocket allows for service removal without
completely disassembling the drive system.
Precision Application – Optional load cells in the spreader body allow the hydraulic drive to adjust
speed for consistent output.
