STEP 5

 

Operating The Coating System 

 

Stop the pump and brushes and push back into the pipe to visually verify the coating 
has covered all required areas evenly. Repeat this process in 1m / 3 ft sections until 
the pipe is fully coated.

 

STEP 6

 

Average coat thickness is 0.7 to 0.8 mm. Carefully inspect that the resin covers the pipe

 

everywhere. Be especially careful around bends.

 

STEP 7

 

Once first coat is complete, apply heat after 20 minutes (Picote Heater) to the pipe before 
starting the next coat to speed up dry time.
