Using block mode
This is the general procedure for reading and displaying data in

Asynchronous calls in block mode
The
function may take a long time to complete if a large amount of
data is being collected. For example, it can take 3.5 seconds to retrieve the full 128M
samples from a PicoScope 3206B using a USB 2.0 connection, or several minutes on
USB 1.1. To avoid hanging the calling thread, it is possible to call
instead. This immediately returns control to the calling thread,
which then has the option of waiting for the data or calling
operation.
