Rear Panel

2.5.1
Ground
Securely connect the “Grounding Port” to a protective earth grounding accordance with the local legal and safety
regulations.
2.5.2
Upstream RF connection
The F-type connector labeled U/S is for the upstream signals or the return path, this is where the cable with the
signals from the cable modem is connected.
2.5.3
Downstream RF connection
The F-Type connector labeled D/S is the downstream connector, this contains the QAM channels generated by the
miniCMTS.
2.5.4
Management Ethernet
This can be configured to be a separate management Ethernet port, however by default this is connected to the
Data Ethernet port via a switch
