Operating Switch

PHP Gen II Air Heater Control Switch - Operation Instructions 

Timed Shutdown (Heater must be operating) 

To set the timed shutdown (Operating Duration): 

Start the heater 

Activate the Timed Shutdown Status mode using the 

Operating Status button menu. 

Adjust the operating time by rotating     

Clockwise or Counterclockwise In a snapping motion. 

The time span is 15 minutes to 7 hours. 

Count down time will be displayed. 

Heater will continue to operate until the 

countdown reaches “0”. 

Heater will then commence a 5 minute 

cool down process. 

Operating Status - Heater Turn On or Off 

To access the heater operating status information 

Press   

To change between operating parameters: 

Press 

Operational information will display in 

this order: 

1. Voltage

2. Glow Pin Status

3. Fan Speed

4. Fuel Pump Level

5. Heat Exchanger Temperature

6. Timed Shutdown Status

7. Clock Time

8. Automatic Start Time

9. Automatic Stop Time

Important Note: 

Time Status Inquiries from 7 to 10 

will only show when an automatic 

start or stop time is programmed.
