2. Photocentric Wash
15 at a glance
The Wash 15 has been designed to remove all residual
resin from printed models.
3. Unboxing &
Installation
3a. Location Requirements
The placement of the Photocentric Wash 15 is
important for the safe running and for optimal
performance of the wash unit. Photocentric Wash 15
external dimensions are 400(l) x 350 (w) x 280 (h) mm.
It weighs 9.5kg. Consider enough space when
selecting a stable location for the Photocentric
Wash 15 unit. Ensure that there is sufficient room to
access the wall outlet and power supply, space for
accessories and finally, the proximity to an extraction
duct.
All operations involving uncured resin or printed parts
in the green state should be performed in a low-
light environment so that components have minimal
exposure to daylight. It is highly recommended that
red ambient lighting is used to prevent early curing.
Choose a location where the ambient temperature is
in the range of 18-28°C.
3b. Unboxing Photocentric
Wash 15
Photocentric Wash 15 is packed in a cardboard
enclosure inclusive of foam inserts above and below
the main unit. To unbox the unit, open the box from
the top. Remove the foam inserts covering the top of
the unit and use the side handles to lift carefully from
the box. Use safety gloves with a secure grip surface
to prevent slipping.
Remove internal packaging to access the accessories.
3c. Power Requirements
• Photocentric Wash 15 requires a mains power
supply with a voltage of 100-120VAC- 60Hz or
200-240VAC- 50Hz (depending on the unit).
• Wash 15 power consumption (only when
Ultrasonic is in use without the heating function)
is rated at 360W.
• Only connect Photocentric Wash 15 to the mains
socket using the power cable supplied into the
power port, and that the current draw of the items
connected to the mains does not exceed the
capacity of the fuse or breaker.
• Make sure that the power is off before connecting
or disconnecting the power cable.
1. Bracket: Holds the build platform when washing
parts on the platform.
2.
Removable Basket (optional): Holds parts to
wash without the build platform.
3. Outer Lid: Limits resin cleaner evaporation and
keeps the potentially harmful fumes contained.
Keep the lid closed when not in use.
4. Wash Tank: Holds the resin cleaner to wash the
parts. Tank can hold a maximum of 15 litres of resin
cleaner.
5. Drain Plug:
To remove the used saturated resin
cleaner after the parts have been cleaned.
6. Clip:
Helps to robustly secure the drainpipe to the
drain plug.

4. Ultrasonic cleaning
principle
The Photocentric wash unit is an ultrasonic cleaner
for use in both industrial and domestic usage.
Made from high-quality SUS stainless steel plate,
the Photocentric wash unit offers a temperature
heating element and a strong ultrasonic power
output. Residue resin can be extremely hard to
remove by hand; however, it becomes easy with the
use of the Photocentric Wash unit and Photocentric
Cleaner. All 3D printed parts can be cleaned in the
ultrasonic process to remove resin residue, this can
be achieved to a ‘perfect’ condition with the use of
Photocentric Cleaner.
