7.3 Important information on installation and putting into operation
•
This lifting column must not have additional drilled holes.
•
This lifting column must not be used for outside operation.
•
The lifting column must be protected against moisture penetration.
•
Each time before the lifting column is put into operation, you must protect the top and
bottom against entry.
•
Before being put into operation, the lifting column must be securely fixed to the assembly
surface. It is fixed on the motor-side application surface. The assembly surface must be able
to withstand the mechanical load of the application. The fixing to the assembly surface is done
via the base plate.
•
The supporting construction must be designed in accordance with 7.3.1.
•
After setting up and putting into operation, it is essential that the mains plug is freely
accessible.
•
You must not open the lifting column. Observe the safety information attached to the lifting
column.
•
The user must ensure that there is no danger when the mains plug is inserted.
•
The lifting column must not be subject to lateral forces during use. Eccentric forces are not
permissible.
•
In terms of design, take care to avoid crushing and shear points. These are to be protected
appropriately.
•
Automatic start-up of the column due to a fault is to be stopped immediately by pulling out
the mains plug.
•
If a mains lead and/or feed line is damaged, the lifting column is to be taken out of service
immediately.
•
Position the lifting column in the room so that when it is extended, it is not possible to trap
persons standing around, objects, or walls between the fastened components.
It is essential that you note and observe the following instructions. Otherwise, people
may be injured or the lifting column or other components may be damaged.
