Phoenix Gold FreeFlight
and its
power cord out of the reach of children at all
times. Close supervision is necessary for any
appliance being used near children. Do not leave
the iron unattended while connected to the Unit
Base or when placed on an ironing board.
3. THIS APPLIANCE IS NOT INTENDED FOR
use by persons with reduced physical, sensory,
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge unless they are under the supervision
of a responsible person or have been given
proper instruction in using the appliance. This
appliance is not intended for use by children.
4. CHILDREN SHOULD
be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
5. DO NOT TOUCH
the Ceramic Plate during
or after use. The Ceramic Plate will become
extremely hot during use. Burns can occur
from touching hot parts, hot water or steam.

that the voltage on the rating plate

your house electricity supply, which must be
A.C. (alternating current).
7. MAKE SURE
the appliance is plugged into

dropped into water.

, the power cord, or plug if they
become damaged. You must have it replaced
by Tristar, its service agent, or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
16. KEEP
the power cord away from hot surfaces.
Do not plug in the power cord or operate
the Unit's controls with wet hands. Let the iron
cool completely before putting it away.

connect this appliance to an external
timer switch or separate remote-control system.

leave unattended when plugged in.
Disconnect the plug from the power outlet
when the appliance is not being used.

any purpose other than described in this manual.
23. ALWAYS
unplug
Phoenix Gold FreeFlight
before filling the water tank. Do not overfill
with water.
24. ONLY USE
clean, pure water that contains no
contaminants or additional chemicals.
25. NEVER TOUCH
the Ceramic Plate when the iron
is switched on or immediately after switching off.
26. THE POWER CABLE
should never touch the
Ceramic Plate during or after use.
27. ENSURE
the Water Tank Cap is closed firmly
before use.
28. DO NOT ALLOW
the Water Tank to run dry
during use.
29. WHEN
refilling the Water Tank, turn the Steam
Switch to the "off" position to keep the soleplate
from leaking. Remove the iron from the Base
Unit to help prevent water from dripping on
electrical components.
30. ALLOW
the Ceramic Plate to cool completely
before cleaning.
31. CLEANING
and user maintenance shall not
be made by children without supervision.
32. THIS
iron must only be used with the
stand provided.
33. TAKE CARE
when vertical steaming to avoid the
steam coming in contact with skin by observing
the direction of the steam flow.

the iron if it has been dropped,
if there are visible signs of damage or if it is
leaking.

the iron if the cord becomes worn
or there are signs of damage to the cord.

take care that the power cord does
