Step

5. At linear actuator motor to be replaced on Magenta/Blue assembly, disconnect 

wiring at both motors.

Step

6. Remove linear actuator motor assembly as follows:

a.

At linear actuator motor assembly, using #1 Phillips screwdriver, remove three 
4-40x1/4" PPZ screws and three #4 lock washers securing motor mount to 
luminaire head.

b. At linear actuator motor assemblies, using #2 slotted screwdriver, disconnect 

actuator/drive ring links from swivel links on drive rings.

Step

7. At linear actuator motor, using #1 Phillips screwdriver, remove two 4-40x1/4" PPZ 

screws securing linear actuator motor to actuator mount, and remove motor. See 

Figure 16

8. Place linear actuator motor in place on actuator mount.

Step

9. Re-install two 4-40x1/4" PPZ screws and two #4 lock washers and, using #1 Phillips 

screwdriver, tighten to secure linear actuator motor and heatsink to actuator mount.

Step 10. Secure actuator/drive ring link to drive ring swivel link.

Step 11. Attach wiring.

Step 12. Re-install top head cover.

Step 13. Release tilt service lock.

Note:  

If mechanism is too noisy, loosen the two 4-40 x 1/4" PPZ screws and align actuator 

motor to motor mount to lessen noise.

Note:  Versilube Silicon Grease (G321) is 
used to lubricate the actuator screw.
