Repairing a key
If a device does not respond properly to a key command you can
have the remote control search for the key function in its database.
During initial setup

Make sure the receiving device is able to respond. E.g. when
you try to repair the Play button for your DVD player, make
sure to insert a DVD in the DVD player otherwise the Play
button is not able to function.

Press the key that does not function,
keep it pressed
and
immediately
release it when the device responds.
Repeat this for every key that does not function.

If the key still does not function (properly), try pressing it
again for a longer period of time.

Select the device you wish to
operate (e.g. DVD).Keep the device
key (DVD) pressed until it blinks
twice and then remains lit.

Keep keys

simultaneously for 3 seconds

Press the key that does not function,
keep it pressed
and
immediately
release it when the device responds.

If the key still does not function (properly), try pressing it
again for a longer period of time.

.....................Switches TV, STB (set-top boxes for
cable box, satellite receiver, Digital Video
Broadcasting Terrestrial device - DVB-T),
DVD player/recorder or VCR on or off.

..................DVD:
- switches the disc menu on and off.
- pressed together with SHIFT

: enters
the system menu.
TV:
- switches teletext on/off.
- pressed together with SHIFT

: opens
the TV menu.
VCR: pressed together with SHIFT
