Iron LED does not light up as specified, fault could be on:
•
Iron LED or hose cord wiring
à
disconnect connector 9010 from Power PCBA and measure
across 9010 female side blue wire and iron Neutral to check diode characteristics (continuity
test using multimeter)
•
Power PCBA
à
Verify by using a new PCBA
-
Other LEDs do not light up as specified, fault on
PCBA.
TS Tip #1
-
Zero-crossing detection circuit error, fault should be on
PCBA.
TS Tip #2
-
Iron temperature sensing circuit error, fault could be on:
·
Thermistor
à
Check the resistance, should be around 200+ k
Ω
·
Power PCBA
à
Verify by using a new PCBA
·
Connection
à
Check Hose Cord wire continuity
TS Tip #3
-
Iron heater power does not show in the power meter; fault could be due to:
·
Iron is too hot
à
cool down and try again
·
Iron Fuse or Heating element Open Circuit
à
check by measuring resistance between Iron Live
and Iron Neutral signal
·
PCBA
à
Verify by using a new PCBA
TS Tip #4
-
No buzzer sound, fault could be on:
·
Power PCBA
à
Verify by using a new PCBA
TS Tip #5
-
Motion sensor not functioning correctly
à
Check Iron PCBA assembly, fault on PCBA
TS Tip #6
-
No steam when steam trigger is pressed:
o
If iron LED still keeps blinking, trigger press is not detected, fault could be on:
§
Trigger mechanism or hose cord connection
à
Check steam trigger related parts and
PCBA circuit
§
Power PCBA
à
Verify by using a new PCBA
o
If trigger is working properly check pump and related parts in PCBA circuit.
