Switching on/ to standby and
selecting functions

to switch on (or

the remote control).

To select your function, press

remote control).

to switch the set to
standby (or

on the remote control).

Helpful hints:
– In the standby mode, volumn level, sound
settings and tuner presets will be retained in the
set’s memory.
Volume Control

Press

to adjust the volume.

Volume bar appears on the LCD screen.
To listen through the headphone
➜
Connect the headphone plug to the socket at
the top of the set.
➜
The speaker will be muted.
To switch off the volume temporarily
●
Press
MUTE
on the remote control.
➜
Playback will continue without sound, and
"MUTE" displays.
●
To activate sound reproduction, you may:
– press
MUTE
again;
– adjust the volume controls;

DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost)
DBB enhances the bass responses.

DBB
on the remote control to enable/
disable DBB feature.

Some discs might be recorded in high
modulation, which causes a distortion at high
volume. If this occurs, switches off DBB or
reduce the volume.
