Set Transceiver defaults
When set defaults is activated, the receiver address and
Opcodes are set to their default values as follows:
Address 0 - 6

Opcode 4
: 4CE0F9
Opcode 5
: 765631
Opcode 6
: 080000
To place a transceiver into its default settings, press the
<Light> key while pressing the <Reset> key.
Confirmation that the transceiver has been set to default
is indicated by a short bleep tone.

Serial communication
The transceiver has been prepared to download new software
versions via a special connector that will be placed in the bat-
tery compartment.
Special software and a connector is available via the service
channels (refer also to the service documentation of the trans-
ceivers or contact your local Philips service organisation).
To enable this function press the <Press-to-talk> key while
pressing the <Light> key.

Testing
The following functions are available to test the transceiver:
TX Talkback
Active pilot-tone + microphone open
- To enter the ‘TX Talkback’ test ensure the transceiver is
in its programming mode (refer to page 13). Once in the
programming mode press the <Enter> key while pressing
the <Press-to-talk> key.
TX DP6000
Digit F will be transmitted permanently.
- To enter the ‘TX DP6000’ test mode, ensure the trans-
ceiver is in its programming mode (refer to page 13).
Once in the programming mode press the <Enter> key
while pressing the <Reset> key.
