7 USB record
Audio CD tracks are recorded in .mp3 format.
The first time you record to USB, a folder is
automatically created in the USB device. Each
time you record to USB, the recorded files are
stored in a sub-folder. Files and sub-folders are
named numerically in the order by which they
are created.

Load a CDDA disc onto the disc tray and
close the disc compartment (see ‘Play a
disc’ on page 17).

Insert a USB device into the socket on
the front panel.

Press
USB REC
to enter the home page
with
MP3
highlighted.

Press
OK
to enter the recording menu and
follow on-screen instructions to continue.
Note
•
DTS CDs and copy-protected CDs cannot be
converted.
•
A write-protected or encrypted USB storage device
cannot be used to store MP3 files.
