Co nn ectio n for Easy Record
This co nn ectio n allows a u to m atic recordi n g witho u t req u iri n g yo u to progra m yo u r
VCR or DVD recorder.Yo u mu st, however, set a Recorder ON/OFF ti m er o n yo u r
receiver as described i n paragraph Ti m ers Ma n ager.
Prior to choosi n g this co nn ectio n m ethod:
- Co n s u lt the u ser m a nu al of yo u r VCR or DVD recorder to check if a n d how the
Easy Record feat u re is s u pported. Most Philips VCR a n d DVD recorders s u pport a n
Easy Record optio n .
- Check that yo u r TV a n d VCR or DVD are both fitted with two SCART sockets.
- I n corporate yo u r receiver i n yo u r existi n g i n stallatio n as described below:
- Co nn ect the receiver “ RF In ” socket to the cable wall socket u si n g a n a n te nn a cord.
- Co nn ect the “ RF Out ” socket of yo u r digital receiver to the aerial i n p u t socket of
yo u r VCR or DVD u si n g a n a n te nn a cord.
- Co nn ect the RF OUT socket of yo u r VCR or DVD to the aerial i n p u t socket of
yo u r TV u si n g a n a n te nn a cord.
- Co nn ect the “ TV ” SCART socket of yo u r digital receiver to the EXT
