Calling

Handset On /

Off

The handset can be switched off by pressing

E

for more than

1 second. The handset is switched on by pressing

E

for more

than 1 second or by placing the handset in the charger.

Setting the

volume

During a call you can adjust the speaker or earpiece volume to
three levels using the arrow keys. The current setting will be
shown in your display.

To adjust the earpiece volume, press the arrow keys; to adjust
the loudspeaker volume, switch the loudspeaker on and then
press the arrow keys.

free Use

To allow several people in the same room to take part in a call,
press the loudspeaker key

during a call. Repeat to switch

off. You will achieve the best quality when the handset is in a
vertical position; in other words when neither the loudspeaker
nor the microphone are covered.

Note:

When the handsfree function is active, the loudspeaker

icon

is displayed.

Muting

During a call you can switch your handset's microphone off
with (right soft key). The person at the other end of the line
can no longer hear you. Pressing the soft key once more
switches it back on.
