8 Adjust sound
The following operations are applicable to all
supported media.
General
Button Function
Rotate to increase or decrease the
volume level.
Press to mute the speakers or release
them from mute status.
Press to enable or disable the
MAX
Sound
effect.
Press and hold to enable or disable
the Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB) effect.
Press repeatedly to select a sound
equalizer:
[FLAT]
(flat),
[POP]
(pop),
[USER]
(customized),
[TECHNO]
(techno),
[ROCK]
(rock),
[CLASSIC]
(classic),
[JAZZ]
(jazz), or
[OPTIMAL]
(optimal).

(Subwoofer on)/

(Subwoofer off):Enable or disable
the subwoofer output.

[SUBW XX]
: Set the subwoofer
output level (XX indicates a value from
00 to 12).

[BALANCE]
(Balance)
[BAL L--R]
: Transfer equal output to
left (L) and right (R) speakers.
[BAL LXX]

: Increase the
level of output to left or right speakers
(XX indicates a value from 01 to 12).

[FADER]
(Fader)
[FAD F--R]
: Set the same fader level to
front (F) and rear (R) speakers.
[FAD FXX]

: Increase the
fader level of front or rear speakers
(XX indicates a value from 01 to 12).

[BASS]
(Bass): Increase or decrease
the bass level (from -7 to +7).
[BASS CFQ]
(Bass center frequency):
Select a value (60 Hz, 80 Hz, 100 Hz,
or 200 Hz).

[MIDDLE]
(Middle)
[MID XX]
: Increase or decrease the
middle level (from -7 to +7).
[MID CFQ]
(Middle center frequency):
Select a value (500 kHz, 1 kHz, 1.5 kHz,
or 2.5 kHz).

[TREBLE]
(Treble)
[TRE XX]
: Increase or decrease the
treble level (from -7 to +7).
[TRE CFQ]
(Treble center frequency):
Select a value (10 kHz, 12.5 kHz, 15
kHz, and 17.5 kHz).
