Portrait mounting
The BDL5535VS in 3D mode cannot be used in portrait orientation; i.e. no 3D image will be visible upon using
the display in portrait mode.
Parts and functions
The BDL5535VS has two additional components mounted at the back of the display (both indicated in red in the
picture below). The lower grey box is the Dimenco Rendering Core Premium, which is required to render
2D-plus-Depth input into a full 3D multiview signal. The black box is the power supply for the rendering box.
The BDL5535VS can only visualize in 3D when the appropriate signal (2D-plus-Depth) is sent to the display via
the rendering box. In other words, putting a video signal directly on one of the video inputs on the terminal panel
of the display will not result in a 3D picture.
The BDL5535VS is equipped with a Dimenco Rendering Core Premium, which can perform real-time multi-view
rendering of stereo (L+R) content (next to 2D-plus-Depth). The real-time stereo to auto-stereo conversion can
be enabled via an online license mechanism. More information can be found at
